Drying Time

February 24, 2008

I am trying to do a small update on etsy today but the yarn isn’t exactly cooperating. Some of the stuff is dry and some is semi-damp. So I’m going to list things as they dry since I only have about 12 skeins to list. Some of the yarns are in my flickr stream.

I finished one of the Hidden Socks. It fits wonderfully. The Hello Yarn Fat Sock is very nice - smooshy and tightly spun. I don’t think Adrian is using this as her base anymore due to supply problems. The stitch pattern I used is fast and easy. I’m almost done with the first Robin’s Egg sock too.

As promised, here is a picture of the Three Irish Girls “Kelly” sock yarn. It is a DK weight superwash base yarn. It’s sad they don’t offer it anymore cause it seems like a really nice yarn.

I also found a use for all those left over yarn cones I have collecting dust.

I love those socks! Is Mr. Coney’s jester hair the little skein samples from Wollmeise?
