Blue Skies Smiling

February 3, 2008

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (cue the rays of sunshine and angels)!

Stormy Sky Socks

These are the most perfect socks I have ever knit – the pattern, the yarn, the fit. I freestyled the cable in a few places, not paying attention to how many rows I knit and being too lazy to walk it back. But I don’t care. My feet are in love.

Stormy Sky Socks

I’m definitely going to write up this pattern. Megan has already offered to test knit.

Stormy Sky Socks

Megan certainly has earned 5 gold stars from me this week. Check out the awesome swap package she sent to me.

I love swaps!

The soap made the whole mail box and all the mail smell so crisp. Plus yummy candy and lip balm!

Smells Good

I’ve been doing prep work for dyeing the last two days. I finally can get down to the fun part today. The St. Patty’s day colorways are a hit so I’m dyeing more of those.

I’ve been tagged by Minerva Turkey to pick 10 blogs that bring me joy. I’ll get to that later this week. A post can only hold so much jubilance. Have a great Sunday!

Those socks are awesome. That’s the Wollmeise, right? The socks I knit for Travis out of it have held up really well. I love a sock yarn that’s beautiful as well as durable.

Gorgeous! I’ll be keeping my eye out for that pattern once it’s written up. Lucky test-knitting-Megan!
