Attack of the Growing Stash

I’ve blown the yarn diet this month. Not that I’m ever on a yarn diet but I am trying soooooooo hard to save some for Rhinebeck next month. I keep falling off the wagon. There are so many yummy yarns calling.

First there was someone destashing this lovely skein of Yarn Pirate in Earth and Ocean. I have been lusting after it for a while. Plus the price was normal on etsy. I have a serious Yarn Pirate addiction and the Booty Club doesn’t help to curtail it.

Next was the Dream in Color last week at the Sweet Sheep. Three skeins of smooshy sock goodness- I had to justify the shipping.

Then this week – Yarnahoy (I am a sucker for yarns that look like patinaed.)

And yesterday there was Wollmeise. Oh the Wollmeise. I managed to snag three from the Loopy Ewe before too many sharks could smell the acid dyes in the cyber waters. I have so longed for Dani and Amazonas and now they are mine. Plus I threw in Tiefer See cause who doesn’t need more blue/green yarns? That and I’m a free shipping wh0re.

I’ll add pics when I get the yarns. Too bad they cannot teleport yarns directly into your stash. I am so impatient so stash enhancement teaches me to enjoy waiting.

I bought all this yarn and I am barely even knitting right now. I need to start on my holiday gift socks at this rate. The wee socks I’m making are coming along rather quickly. I hope they are going to be big enough. I’m ready to start the toe.

The good news is my progress on this huge order. Things are going stunningly well (did I just jinx myself?). I may be able to dye some yarns to update the etsy shop with soon. I plan on dyeing a bunch more Halloween ones too. After that, I need a break. I really want to just sit and knit for a weekend like I used to.
