Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon

Wow!  I cannot believe it is the middle of August already.  This month has just zipped by.

I going to be adding things slowly to the shop over the next few weeks.  I have some fall and Halloween-y colors I want to dye up.  I’ve also been trying out some new color combos.  Here is Sporto:

I also redyed some Rose Garden for a custom order.  I forgot what dyes I used on the original.  It was one of the original skiens from my first shop update.  I like the new and improved verison better; it looks more vintagey.

My Hello Yarn order arrived yesterday, along with the last of my Interweave Hurt Book Sale order.  I’m am currently obessed with DK weight sock yarn.  I love how fast it knits up.  So it is no surprise that I ordered 4 skeins of DK weight.

I’m thinking of doing all my Christmas sock gifts in DK weight.  That or use up some older stuff in the stash.

 I love seeing the yarn in action.  I’m thinking of starting up a refer a friend program or show me what you knit discount sort of thing.  I need to mull it over for a bit.
