Are You a Fan of Delicious Flavor?
August 12, 2007
I discovered the most delicious licorice this week. I cannot believe how juicy and fresh they are. The company is Route 29 and they make a bunch of other scrumptous looking treats to top it off. I bought the assorted bag. You can also buy the stuff in bulk!!! So far the peach is my favorite. So yummy.
More dyeing has been occuring. I bought a brand new crock pot at Target on Friday. I haven’t seen any at goodwill lately and the little one I have is just too small. The yarn needs to move around freely. I skeined up this new colorway, Goblet, yesterday.
I’ve also got some work done on the Funky C socks. This slipped rib stitch is very stretchy in the control top panty hose sort of way. I hope they fit my feet. It almost seems too clingy. I’ve only just finished with the gusset so I cannot yet squeeze it on my foot. I used the linen stitch on the heel again. It’s actually called the purse stitch in the Walker Treasury not the fabric stitch. Ooops.
The annual Frog Jump was today. I’ve never gone but we’ve had some frogs from our pond win before. I may have to dye up some Frog Jump yarn this week to celebrrate it. I hope everyone had a jumping weekend.
Oh and if you watch Psych, you would have totally laughed at today’s post headline. It’s my new favorite tag line.

HeeHee! I was inspired by this month’s lucky magazine cover colors (Sarah Michelle Gellar is on it). It did remind me of the different kinds of wine, even though I don’t drink it.

OMgosh, your sock is looking fantastic. The pattern looks great with the colorway.
