Hello Froggy Yarns!

Since I finished up so quickly with the Siberia socks, I decided to make mom a second pair of birthday socks. I had some Cherry Tree Hill Mill ends from a trade. I only have 326 yards or so which is perfect for mom’s tiny feet. I have no idea what color it is as it doesn’t match anything on CTH’s website. Anyway, I finished up the heel flap and turned the heel; as I was picking up the gusset stitches I realized I did the whole heel 10 stitches less than I should have. So hello froggy! RIPIT! RIPIT! That’s what I get for staying up til 2AM knitting Saturday night.

I was busy all day Sunday dyeing up some new colors. I tried out the merino/tencel and it is DREAMY! You guys are gonna love it. I also have the treadsoft in stock which I dyed up some of too. It will take me all week to reskein so keep checking the shop for updates. Some of the new stuff is so pretty I want to keep it. I put it pictures when I can. I have some exciting stuff in the works too. I’m not saying what but I’ll give you a hint – I ordered a little over 15 pounds of sock yarn on Sunday.

I WON A PRIZE TODAY!!! I hardly ever win stuff but I won the Last Chance Challenge for A-Muse-A-Palooza. The stamps I won are awesome and stuff I can totally use. This is my card that was randomly picked.

And to top it off, two of my yarn packages were waiting for me at home. One from Funky Carolina. Carried dyed the “In the Dark” one just for me! I love it. And if you ever want wonderful smelling fibers, buy them from her. Oh My. Like heaven.
